When looking to solve a problem, create a design, formulate a strategy, start a new business, or undertake any important work, two factors almost always play a vital role in the process.
The first factor is people. The individuals you are trying to serve, those for whom you are seeking a solution, and the collaborators you need to work with, as any worthwhile project almost always involves working with others. Collaboration, cooperation, and empathy will continue to be essential components of our work. Yes, AI is advancing, but the best way to mitigate AI disruption is through the way you work with people.
The second factor involves questions. Asking the right questions in the right way will lead to new and interesting answers, good questions often manifest the innovation and results we seek.
Some of the most magical moments in my career occurred when the right people were in the right room, and someone asked the right questions.
I invite you to ask yourself: Who are the people you need to collaborate with, and what questions should you ask them?
